Cardiovascular disorders

The term "cardiovascular disorders" outlines numerous cardiac and vasculature illnesses of the body (arteries). For example, these illnesses include high blood pressure, low blood pressure, arterial circulatory disorders, cardiac dysrhythmia or cardiac insufficiency. Disorders of the cardiovascular system are the most frequent cause of death in western industrial countries.

Cardiovascular disorders are often indicated by pain in the chest area, palpitations, cardiac irregularities, oedemas, physical weakness, quick exhaustion, breathlessness, fainting, impaired vision, headaches, dizziness, nausea, cold sweat or reduced resilience. In addition to this however, other individual symptoms can also occur.

Why consult a physician?

Cardiovascular disorders can lead to serious physical damage. If the described symptoms are indicated, a physician should be consulted immediately. He/She is the only one who can find the cause for the discomfort by means of a thorough physical examination and with technical and chemical tests. Here in our practice, this is possible by conducting an echocardiography (cardiac ultrasound) and an ECG exam.

Even the smallest suspicion of a cardiac disorder must be immediately checked by a physician.
