Digestive disorders
Digestive disorders are differently caused disorders of digestive processes with the symptoms of diminished appetite, eructation, feeling of fullness, gastric pressure, flatulence, vomiting and diarrhoea.
A thorough medical examination, possibly by a specialist, including the collection of lab results and a stool test is urgently recommended in the case of:
- blood, sanies or slime on the stool
- accessory symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, daze feeling, xerostomia (cottonmouth), discoloured urine
- interaction with constipation (obstipation)
- it being the result of overseas travelling
- more than one participant who shared the same meal is afflicted by diarrhoea (e.g. risk of salmonella)
A detailed anamnesis (medical history) and the exact description of the disorder belong to the clarification of digestive disorders.
